My group's research is driven by the identification and proposal of methods to extract value from data. We work on problems in data science and data management. In the realm of data science, we concentrate on understanding what is the value of data, how to design well-performing data markets, and how to improve data sharing. In data management, we work on problems of data discovery, integration, and processing. We are part of ChiData in the Department of Computer Science at The University of Chicago.
